DEMO: Texas License to Carry (In Person)

Empower yourself with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to legally carry in Texas. This class provides the Texas DPS required classroom training and firearms qualification needed to obtain your Texas License to Carry (LTC).

Classroom (4 hours)

• Texas laws related to weapons and the use of deadly force, including interacting with law enforcement
• Handgun use and safety, including secure carry methods and restraint holsters
• Non-violent dispute resolution
• Safe storage, with emphasis on preventing child access

Then

• A 25-question written test
• A 50-round proficiency demonstration at 3, 7, and 15 yards

This is not a beginner course. You must know how to safely load, unload, and operate your firearm. New to shooting? Take our Basic Pistol Course or a private session first.
